I brought in my old jalopy of a leaf blower/sucker with a broken pull cord. Daria and Tyler helped me get going again and found me some gently used parts at a fraction of the price compared to new instead of pushing for a new sale and were super friendly and knowledgeable while doing so. Instead of waiting 4 weeks they had me off and running in less than an hour. Common sense. Common decency. What a change from the rest of society lately. I wish I had a 6 star rating available.

Richard's restoration work is fantastic. Antique tools, antique methods, antique paper used in restoration. I have used him many times for my 16th and 17th century books. If you want quick turn around times, he is not your man. But if you want quality, historically sensitive, rebinding of exceptional quality all at very reasonable prices - visit him.

Great service and very efficient!! We had some very tall swaying trees in our backyard that were a hazard. Marko came in and did a thorough job with trimming them and clearing out the overgrowth. Fabulous staff and so friendly. I phone for an appointment and someone answers the phone right away (after the usual speel about emergencies and such). I was new to Ladysmith a year ago so they were very helpful in setting me up for online lab services too. Never have to wait longer than 10 minutes for an appointment either. So glad they are nearby.

I use this store and the one in Langford as my go-to home repair and maintenance store. I actually dont always know exactly what Im looking for but most of the staff can figure out what would be helpful in my situation. Its not a drive through, get in get out in ten minutes - kinda store, but I dont know a hardware store that is. I refuse to use the automated checkouts though. Maybe thats why less staff. Bring back more staff. Great place!
