I used to live in the neighborhood of this restaurant and would frequent it often. It is certainly not the least expensive Japanese restaurant in the city but I'd be hard pressed to find a better one.
The sushi is always fresh and well made, Maki rolls are seasoned with chives and wasabi. Gyoza and Miso Soup are good, as expected, two things that can't really be done wrong. In the past I've had their lunch bento boxes which are a good value and are of the same quality as their dinner menu.
Only complaints I'd have about this restaurant: Parking is not provided so you're at the mercy of the local pay lots.
Also, when the restaurant gets really busy it gets very tight as it is a small place, and service gets really slow, But with that being said the owners are very kind and friendly.
Overall, a very good restaurant with excellent food.

I called for service regarding my kitchen sink and was happy when told Jeff F. would be the plumber on the call. It has been 5 years or so since he has been out. Jeff is very polite, he even noticed I had a different vehicle. During this pandemic time, I had not concerns, Jeff took every prevention to make me feel at ease. He was thorough and listened to all my concerns and did not try to sell me something I did not need. I can always depend on this trustworthy company.

My husband and I have lived at Caroline Place for just over 6 years now. In fact we are now the longest permanent residents living here. Although I've not had experience with a lot of Retirement Residences I can't imagine finding one any better. I truly cannot think of a negative thing to say. The atmosphere is always warm and inviting.
