My first time going to Sushi Legend on Ravel Road and to be honest with you, I am very very happy. This place is new so everything is sparkling. The design of the restaurant is so modern and classic, I fell in love instantly. The all you can eat lunch is $12.95 and considering all of the different choices they have, it is soo soo soo worth it. The place is big and comfy and can accommodate a lot of people. The servers are all fluent in English, very friendly and serve you very quickly. My lunch bento box which was $8.50 came in 5 minutes. I was impressed. I cannot even think of one bad thing to say about this place. Everybody should come and visit! :) Lire plus

we are here to try something we haven't tried last time~ here we go~ Tempura & Kalbi combo is delicious~ tempura vegis include 3 shrimps, 1 green pepper, 1 cucumber, 1 broccoli, 1 white onion, 1 sweet potato...(maybe i missed 1 more vegi) however, it's very satisfying... grilled kalbi is like bone-in beef teriyaki... very flavorful~ Sushi & Sashimi combo is awesome-ly fresh-ly delicious~ simply excellent for its price~ alright~ here comes the Salmon Head BBQ~ without this meal, I will give them 5 stars on Food catagory~ it's kinda dissapointing that the Salmon Head isn't grilled to order~ the salmon skin isn't charred till crispy~ it's more like it has been "microwaved"~ the interior is a bit hotter than the exterior of the Salmon~ the only drawback of the whole meal~ however~ the rest is still maintained to its perfection so far~ keep it up~ and see you next time~ Lire plus

After seeing *some* favourable reviews and while in the Yorkdale area, I decided to try this place out. So I hope that I'm not being biased after reading unfavourable reviews about their service. We ordered Hwe Dup Bap (sashimi salad) and a dumpling soup with clear noodles - sorry, I don't remember the name. Shortly after placing ordering, 5 side dishes were brought out. Their flavours varied and they were yummy! The salad was perfect for a light, late lunch. Lotsa flavour, especially after adding the sweet/spicy chilli sauce which was provided in a squeeze bottle! My bf said that the dumpling broth was okay. Service-wise, side dishes were taken away, not replenished. And I had to ask for our tea to be refilled! Waitresses seemed waaay more attentive to a table of Korean men. Maybe it's because waitresses are more comfortable speaking their own language. So although service wasn't terrible per se, be a bit proactive to get even better service! Lire plus

I've been eating at this place from time to time since it opened. The food is good, the service decent. Food arrives with minimal wait, even when the restaurant is packed. The physical place itself is neither clean nor dirty, but in between. Had a fly in my drink once, but was promptly replaced by the wait staff, who were polite as usual. Lire plus

Their menu offers a variety of options, and dine in specials. We love the BC and Banzai rolls, all their sashimi and their pan fried and soup udon noodles. They have wide selection of sushi and sashimi and some are not even available from the other AYCE places. All sashimi were great, squid sushi, BBQ eel sushi, the spicy salmon handroll were AMAZING. I got here for lunch often because it is close to my work. Prior to that my boyfriend took me a few times too, since he lives nearby and loves the place. I'm quite surprised at some of the reviews here though. I love the place! I feel very welcomed, the service is good, and the atmosphere is quite nice. I've never been disappointed with their food, and find the quality much better than some restaurants. That said, I would note that I find them to be a bit pricey. So overall, it's a great place! The best sushi rolls are the spicy crunchy rolls liek tuna, salmon and crab. The rolls are bigger in size compared to most places. They have a good lunch and dinner combos too. The only thing is when it gets busy, they've only got one server... But overall, really good food! Lire plus

Ginko was the first Japanese restaurant my boyfriend took me to before we started dating. I was quite skeptical upon first glance, since they're located by the airport and inside a hotel. Once inside and seated in a comfortable booth, and eating, my opinion of this establishment quickly changed. Not only does this restaurant make you feel like you've literally stepped into Tokyo (as evidenced by the traditional booths, decor and Japanese waitresses serving you in Yukatas), the food will surpass your expectations. My boyfriend was in charge of ordering, and he ordered us assorted sushi and sashimi on a boat. We were met with excellent service, and I must say--the quality of the fish and dining experience will have us be returning again soon. Lire plus
