I brought them my 25 year old Hoover vacuum to see why it was screeching. The guys took it apart to have a look and when they determined it was the motor bearings they recommended against repairs, saying it would not be worth it. They said to just use it as long as it still worked or until it died. They didnt charge me a dime. 4 months later the vacuum stopped screeching on its own and is still working more than a year later. Now I buy all of my vacuum bags and supplies from them.

Andrew is a meticulous piano tuner. He has decades of experience and did an excellent job of tuning my 1900 Bell piano. Courteous and knowledgeable and *extremely* reasonable rates. I would recommend him without hesitation. I also wanted to say that he moved my piano into my home. Again, attention to detail, to make sure the floor was not damaged and that the piano arrived safe and sound.

I have been going to J. Max mechanical exclusively for over 25 years. When I purchased a new Civic in 2006, I skipped the dealership's mechanical section and stayed with J. Max. I'm a woman and all the staff are respectful. They don't talk down to me or over my head. You won't find a flashy waiting room, just honest work at a fair price and good employees comfortable in their work environment. And yes, my '06 Civic is still running well.

Are water tank went on Sunday. I called at least ten other companies. Most did not even answer the phone. Noris came down replaced the tank. Norm the tech that was here. Was friendly and clean. Would recommend this company and I will them first

Howard and Jason are so helpful. I can’t get packages at our address and so they go there. People expect them to deliver them but they are only a pickup point and that in itself is SO HELPFUL for me and my family. Needed to take my elderly mom to HSC. Switchboard/dispatcher was super helpful in setting up appointment. Driver arrived right on time, was really nice, totally professional, also very considerate in driving - tried to avoid rough patches as best he could. Got to the appointment in plenty of time.
When we needed the return ride, we called and the van was there in just a few minutes. We totally recommend this service!
