I ordered some spring clean up since it looked like the snow was gone here. I appreciated the prompt response from the company both when I asked to get a quote and how fast the work was completed. Really thankful for that. They actually took a couple old tree stumps that I hadn't paid to have them take but wanted cleared out. :) Finding a professional surrey lawn care company is not that easy. Well it hadn't been for me at least. These guys did a great job because they cleared out old debris and garbage and really brought my yard back and made it ready for spring. Just wanted to pass on my review. Thank you.

I discovered that vinyl blinds in my home were constructed in this store in 1997 (before my ownership of my home). In need of a replacement blind and an adjustment to an existing blind, I was pleased to find a solution for this renovation project at this store. Parm and Kaitlyn went beyond the call of duty to serve me creating and adjusting my blinds. If starting from scratch is more your speed they also carry a vast selection of seeds including a terrific selection of organic seeds. Of course, once you have your garden where you want it you're going to want to spend some time sitting in it and again Mandeville can help you here. Offering a wide slection of garden furniture there is something for everyone. They also offer a comprehensive selection of perfect gifts for the favourite gardeners in your life. My wife's mother even used to make the special trip to Mandeville from the Valley. Visit Mandeville and you too will see why they're that special.

Nick from Fixit repaired our hot water tank in an emergency service on a long weekend for a reasonable price, when all other companies we called were either too busy or had extortionate rates. He is courteous, works hard, and keeps you informed of the process until it is complete.
I would highly recommend Nick for any of your plumbing and heating needs.

Even though I do a lot of book shopping online these days I still love going to Chapters and browsing the aisles and aisles and aisles of books. This store is great by virtue of its location and the knowledgeable staff who can guide you to almost any title in the store. It is also a great place to while away an afternoon flipping through books you may buy since the staff pretty much leaves you to your own devices if this is what you are choosing to do. They also have a great little gift section for unique and interesting gift items. They used to have a pretty good music section but this is being renovated right now...possibly because they are no longer going to carry music. Head into Chapters at Broadway and Granville and lose yourself in the books!

We are building an addition to our existing West Vancouver home and needed an excavation team. Al, Blake and George were able to fit us in and went above and beyond what we ever hoped for. They needed to excavate tons of earth and large rocks which are expensive to dispose of. In less than two hours, Al and his team managed to quickly and effortlessly use much of the additional soil and granite rocks to build a stepped walkway and berm on a much neglected side of the house saving us over $1000 in removal fees and improving the property immensely. However, the best part was the attitude and passion of this team lead by Al. They were incredibly fast and really fun to work with. I strongly recommend Al and his company to anyone.

I had a rock chip on my windshield that cracked when Affordable attempted to fix it. Windshield had to be replaced and everything went smoothly. Appointments were easily made and they took care of all the insurance claims. Only thing was an employee told me my windshield replacement will be OEM but a FuYao brand windshield was installed instead. No big deal as long as the glass is high quality.
