I highly recommend Kipps Lane Fish n Chips! I was hard pressed to find a classic fish n chip joint such as I had adored as a teen in Toronto in the mid 1970s. A true, halibut fish, hand filleted with the classic, puffed up batter and golden fries is a rare treat to still find these days especially from a family owned and operated restaurant who are so friendly and who take pride in what they serve you. Well stocked West Indian and East Indian food store...everything you need from the West Indies and India...many items you cannot get at most Supermarkets or food stores..all though it is a bit far for me (as I don’t have a car) I take 3 to 4 buses to get there..or sometimes in the summer or favourable weather..I use my three wheel electric bike..which has a large basket at the back that I can put enough supplies to keep me till I go back again..
