Shampooch Grooming

“I started out helping my sister bathe and blow-dry her furry clients,” Cheryl Lorenzen says. “It wasn't a hard sell for her to talk me into learning how to groom on my own. I started in 1998 and haven’t looked back.” Shampooch is Cheryl’s second dog grooming business — she launched Posh Paws, selling it when it became successful, and starting fresh with Shampooch. With so many dog and cat owners in Calgary, Cheryl knows there's plenty of grooming business to go around.

Cheryl also does volunteer grooming for the Calgary Humane Society, and has received a commendation for her work. “The Calgary Humane Society often calls me to groom a dog going up for adoption so they can look their best to find their new family.”
