Is this the only resource available in a addiction crisis?

The program in my home town said it had a waiting list of 3-4 mo, luckily I was able to get into the Medicine Hat clinic. For 6 mo I have been making the 5 hr round trip to see the dr for 5 minute checkups. I've called the local clinic too check the wait list multiple times. I got the answering machine, and my messages where never returned. When I finally got in contact with the local clinic I was informed that the wait list is now 8-10 mo!? these people are so strapped that they cant help.
