Assiniboia-Charleswood Community Church, located on Charleswood Road on near the west part of the Perimeter, is a non-denominational community church. Although not part of a denomination the church participates with other churches in many activities including: the Westdale Foodbank, Faith Bible Camp, Love Winnipeg,Focus Africa, etc. The church has a variety of studies, ministries and service opportunities. See http://www.charleswood.ca for details. Sunday morning provides an opportunity for Sunday School classes for the whole family at 9:30. For myself the Adult Sunday School class has been a highlight of attending. The worship service at 11:00 a.m. is a mainly modern form or worship (piano/drums/guitar) with some traditional elements. Younger children are dismissed to Junior Church at about 11:15.
