They showed up on time, treated our stuff with care, and managed a difficult move quickly with zero problems. Communicated well, and took great care of us. Cannot recommend enough, these guys are magic.

I am very disheartened after dealing with Abbey's Smart move. A co-worker who works for one of our storage companies had recommended them, so I called and spoke to Jim Abbey before booking the move. I explained who I worked for and who recommended him, he told me on the phone that I would not be charged for the return time to Halifax. I was quoted a rate of $95 / hr for the move (I moved from Halifax to Mt.Uniacke). The move only took 3.5 hrs as we had moved alot of the boxes ourselves. I was

Abbey's Smart Move handled our move yesterday from Enfield to New Brunswick. Arrived on time, quick and clean loading. Everything was unload at our new home by 4 that afternoon. Price as quoted. Very happy with Jim and his team. Professional.

We used Abbey's many years ago, never again. They like to respond to negative reviews by making up stories.

Today we had a great experience with Abbey's smart move! We were moving a fridge from Falmouth to Sackville, NS this morning and our original movers cancelled on us. Within minutes of talking to Jim he had agreed to match our price and dispatch a guy right away to do the job. Our mover Denis was very personable and friendly. We were very impressed with his customer service, speed and ability to move the fridge without any issue. I would highly recommend Abbey's Smart Move Ltd!

I had a reservati...

I had a reservation for this company to move me. The day before they were supposed to arrive, someone from their company called to tell me they had to change the time. Instead of apologizing or even taking responsibility for this, he acted as if it was unreasonable of me to not be okay with this change of our reservation. He was rude and actually acted as if I had done something wrong. I called around and found a place cheaper and who would arrive on time. I would NOT recommend this company.

Great experience!

I recently used Abby's Smart Move and I was very impressed. They were fast, professional and experienced. Unfortunately, the day we moved was also a snow storm day but the guys kept the house clean and were still able to move our furniture safely. I would definitely recommend them for a large or small move!

Reliable and considerate mover

Jim quoted us an amount for moving our office from Halifax to Dartmouth. He showed up on time, with his staff...moved us professionally without incident. He went above and beyond with us, moving extra furniture for us that was not supposed to be included. We had minimal damages (honestly...some small dings are certainly expected with any move)....and were billed for the quoted amount....although we asked for more when the move was taking place.....Jim didn't bill us for more. Definitely satisfied customer and would recommend him to anyone in the future.
