My Macbook Pro was less than a year old and someone at Starbucks spilled coffee all over it as I was submitting my final project for my undergraduate degree. Skyview completely repaired my laptop and it feels brand new! They were great to deal with, kept me updated on the status of my laptop and the bill at the end of it was much less than I expected.

I recently called in for some assistance in fine tuning my digital antenna. I spoke with Candice who was very knowledgeable and helped me diagnose the problem. I visited the store where i met Rodney who helped me choose the most cost effective solution. Its a small electronic wonderland in this little store and I was filled with questions. Rodney was very friendly and spent approx. 1 hour with me answering my question about digital antennas and accessories, routers and home networking and home security cameras. I ended up purchasing a pre-amp which worked initially but due to an inline splitter i thought it was defective. Andrea exchanged it for me no questions asked when i returned 2 weeks later. Once i installed the replacement and removed the inline splitter my problems were solved just as promised. I will deal with these fine folks any day. Bravo Skview for the best electronics store service i have ever experienced. There is something to be said for smaller businesses who take the time to help you make the right purchase, stand behind their merchandise and willingly talk you through your troubleshooting steps and help you resolve the real problem without trying to up-sell you!!!
I took my MSI laptop to have the power port repaired or replaced I was told by their technician it would be about $100 for him to look at it and that they may not be able to fix it, they might have to send it away which might cost me another $200. I went to another computer repair shop and within a minute they determined the pin type. (saved the 100.00 charge to look at the computer) shame on you Skyveiw!

This customer misunderstood our technician. It would not have been $100 PLUS $200, it would have been one OR the other depending on whether we repaired it in our shop or had to send it out. It is Skyview's intention to always treat customers in the fairest possible manner. Perhaps that's why last year Skyview Electronics was voted Durham regions favourite computer store by Durham Business Times Readers Choice Awards.
