They were going to use only two different sizes of stones from the package we have chosen, but that was not what we agreed upon, the package should have had five different sizes of stones for different combinations of patterns. Not until I call them out on that, they were just going to go ahead & do the paving using only two sizes of stones and then just say oh too late, the job is already done. Very sneaky. And even after my complain, they only used three different sizes of stones in the end.

They use sub-quality material. There were multiple stains in the stones they used. The steps they built started shifting and sinking just a month after they finish the work and they refuse the correct them even though they claim that they have 2-year warranty. They simply refuse to answer the phone or call back to fix the problem. They are not trust worthy.

They originally agreed to include a small pathway connecting the front porch to the laneway on the side of the house. But then, they insisted on having more money in order to build it. The steps they built were not completed with proper stepping stone. They connected the step to the grass rather than attaching the steps to proper stepping stones.

Was not up front about the material they use. Demanded extra money for substandard work.

Promise to have 2 year warranty yet the owner Leo does not answer phone calls once he's got your money. Should not have any problems with stone work for at least several years, yet brick stairs started wobbling within two months after they finish the work and taken the money.

Did a slightly below average job. The stone steps they did were not completely sturdy and needed to be reinforced/re-secured only 2 weeks after they left. Very difficult to find the owner once you paid. He does not answer his phone once he cashes the cheque.
