Great For Drinks

FOOD- We usually get drink and apps at Moxies prior to going out for the night. The martini's are amazing and excellent choice of wine too! SERVICE- The girls are usually good with service, quick to mention new menu items and make sure we are taken care of. Service with a smile! DECOR- Upscale, modern and relaxing environment to meet with friends. They try to make moxies happening but truly it's more for a younger crowd ready to start their night off.

Upscale / Fun

It's true, no young lady would EVER get a job @ Moxies unless they have a good body and face to match. Short, short skirts required. Very upscale and modern, it must have cost a fortune to put together. I myself am 45+ obviously could never qualify to work there, nor would I want to, however, our servers have always been fine. From a woman's perspective, they probably get tired of being hit on all the time:) Understandable for you young guys. Anyway, the food.....my sister is addicted to the brie & lobster sandwich and we go there for her fix approx. twice monthly. $15.00 is expensive for a sandwich, but I 'gotta tell you, it's loaded, and addictive. Incredible taste experience. I was disappointed only once when I ordered the fish & chips. Wow. The fish arrived very dark brown in colour, pure grease and disgusting. I sent it back, I had no choice, and the manager immediately arrived to sincerely apologise and stated that the problem would immediately be addressed and that the dish would not be served to any other patrons until it was. Very nice. I would still go back. Not the place for a romantic dinner, but, you should know that going in.

Did Not Order Dessert $$$$

Located centrally, this one of a chain of restaurants is probably the most modern. There is a diner and a very comfortable lounge section, both used for food. The menu is excellent, but very expensive, for example, I had broccoli soup, grilled chicken with shrimps and vegetables, and a nice glass of chardonnay - with the tip, this was a surprising $52.00 (for lunch). Fortunately, I did not order a dessert or coffee.

We had fun and liked the vibe!

We were a large party and the food and service met our expectations. This place is packed whenever a downtown event is happening. It's tastefully decorated and food is quite delish. Drinks are good also and, overall, I was impressed. This is a night out and not an everyday place to go due to higher pricing. We all had a great time and they seemed to work hard at ensuring we were having a good experience. I could have done without the skimpy outfits on the waitresses but I guess that's the trend with a lot of these chain places now. Besides that, this place has it going on in offering a cool, hip, and happening vibe. I would return with a group but not my idea of a romatic date.

mmm mmm good...

We always seem to have a good experience with Moxie's. Great food, good service, the bathrooms are worth the visit along, not to mention the Mexican Bulldog margarita available (must try!). The two-bite brownie is amazing... it comes out warm with ice cream. YUUUMMMM. We also now request a server named Veronica, she made our experience what it was. Luke is another one who makes us feel at home in this restaurant. All in all, make this one a night out with your sweetie. We have never left unhappy with any part of our night.
