It's the dream of every business owner to have a name that is equated with quality; Picov Furniture Ltd. is one such business. The family name goes back three generations in Pickering to the 1930s, and is so well-known locally that owner Kerry Picov doesn't even need a website.

"My grandfather traded horses and had a tack shop so the family name has been associated with business for decades. We’re here to stay and I think that gives customers a feeling that they can rely on us," says Kerry. These days, the Picov name is known not for trading in horses, but in custom-made furniture, recovery and repairs at Picov Furniture Ltd.

    Never again. Oct 2017 we took 2 chairs to Picov to be re-covered. After umpteen promises and excuses from Kerry, we finally got our chairs back end of May 2018. For one chair the fabric was sewn together because it was too short (who does that!) and a row of antique nailing was not done, just omitted, even though this had been discussed several times. For the other chair, Picov did not re-cover it in the same style, instead Picov created their own look for the chair - not what we expected.

    I am sorry that this customer is not happy but I would be glad to make them a very satisfied customer all they have to do is contact the store and speak to me unfortunately we do not have this customer in our customer records. and we are not in business for over 30 years without trying to make every customer very satisfied
