William Tissert, the namesake behind William Tissert Salon & Spa, firmly believes that a hair salon is about creating a lasting impression for clients. “In this business, it’s not so much giving people beautiful hair,” William says. “It’s the entire package; it’s bringing beauty from the inside out.”

William’s journey from his homeland of Cuba to Pickering, Ontario has been one of passion, creativity and love — values he infuses into every experience at his salon. He first moved to Toronto, then spent some time in Europe and eventually landed in, and fell in love with, Pickering. He’s been cutting hair here ever since. “I was working at a salon in Toronto and an opportunity came to work in Pickering. I fell in love with it instantly,” William says. “There was a big need for a salon with a downtown feel. A lot of people were travelling to Toronto for quality hair styling, so I created that style of salon here. Now, I have people coming from Toronto to get pampered here.”

Good people, good service

On June 24, 2013, I brought my daughter to William Tissert Saloon and Spa. This is our first time to visit this place. At first, the place is good, smells very good, clean and tidy. Staff made us feel comfortable and relax. Staff are very courteous, polite and accommodating. They have a good service, William and staff respect their customer's views and opinions. Awesome job, my daughter looks great and beautiful. We are happy about their job and service. Keep up the good work. Chow! Thanks, Ampi

Fantastic place

These guys mean business, we have been coming here for a while now....everyone in the family comes to the salon. We always leave happy and very pleased with their work. Great energy and atmosphere. oh! and thank you for the great beverages, amazing espressos and teas....Keep up the good work!
