It is the best mom and pop restuarant i have ever been to. The owners are so friendly to everyone who walks into the door and they are always there working to make the customers happy! The food is delish and it is always busy there!

Visiting my Mom and we lost Talk of the Town Restaurant to a fire and it didn't reopen so Mom suggested Ganaraska Rainbow Cafe. It is a Mom and Pop run establishment in a little house on the river at the marina in Port Hope. To look at it you would think oh no!! but when inside it was charming. The food was good, service was good and they were busy. They have only about 10 tables and 1 waitress but the owner came out when he wasn't helping the cookito help pour coffee etc. It was really nice place

TAKE OUT at Rainbow Cafe when you go fishin at the Ganny. $3.50 for a full breakfast! 2 eggs, home fries, choice of meaty bacon, juicy sausage or ham, with 2 slices of whole wheat toast. Perfectly cooked, great price. Get it when you can cuz it closes at 2pm.
