We bought a stove, brought it home and two of the burners did not work. We were told when we bought the appliance there was a warranty on it. When we tried to bring it back they refused to refund our money or fix the stove. Very poor customer service. They are selling faulty appliances.

Our salesperson was Emil. He was great, really efficient, listened carefully, and made suggestions about appliance choice, to save us money! Prices were unbeatable, delivery was prompt. No complaints.

Zero stars for econoplus. We bought a washer and it was delivered a week later with several large dents in the front panel. We spoke with the owner who told us it must have been like that in the store because his delivery people are pros. We have pictures showing the machine in perfect condition. He has refused to give us our money back. Do not deal with this company.

Our family moved from halifax to ottawa we were looking for affordable appliances finally we found Econoplus on Vanier really very good stuff good price and excellent service from salesman name Emil.Thankyou

We bought a used fridge they decided to leave the fridge at the front door when they didn't show up at the agreed time. After dealing with them to get the fridge put in, it stopped working within a couple of days. the rude owner did replace the fridge buy it was not the same as the original. A few months later it had issues with the door but the 3 month warranty was passed. I paidfor repairs and now a year later the door is broken again and I have to buy another fridge. Don't buy from here!

I bought a fridge...

I bought a fridge and stove from them. The fridge had issues so the owner arranged for his delivery service to pick up the problem fridge and deliver the replacement for $50. When the I paid the delivery men, one of the men said "no tip?" It is very impolite to ask for a tip especially from a stay at home mom who has a very low income and spent her savings on a used fridge and stove only or have to dish out an extra $50 to get a working one.

The owner was very polite when I came into the store. We got 5 stainless steel appliances (washer/dryer, fridge, stove, dishwasher). All were delivered in very good condition. So far we are pleased and we got great looking appliances for a nice price. It was a bit of a challenge to have to do a cash deposit since my bank was nowhere near their store and I'm not in the habit of carrying cash.

I went in looking for a stand up freezer, after sitting down with the owner and agreeing on a 20 cubic feet Frigidaire freezer that was under 5 years old and cost $450 tx included. Since he only took cash for payment, I didn't get my order slip since I couldn't put down a deposit. We came by a few days later to pick it up with a trailer, and he left us a Kenmore that was over 10 years old for the same price. I would not recommend doing business with them given the nonsense we had to deal with.

I have just purchased a whirlpool washer and dryer set. Paid 350 plus 50 for delivery. Online the set said I'd have a one year warranty. When I got home after paying, i realized he had only marked 3 months warranty. On the date of delivery, I hooked everything up and as soon as I started the washer, I noticed the timer was broken and it doesn't properly wash any of my clothes. Waste of my time and money! Avoid this store.

I bought a dishwasher in this store: we soon found out that it was missing the power cord. It's not a generic type of power cord and after going to every store and parts stores in town , after calling the manufacturer, we were told there is no way to get it witout the serial/model number. Meanwhile we went back/called the store many times, the guy was very rude and unhelpful. He basically does not care. Our dishwasher is under warranty for a year. We have filed a complaint, avoid this store!!

The owner was extremely rude to us. He opened up late after we told him what time we would pick up a fridge. We knocked on the door at 9:10Am and he was mad at us for doing so. He told us we didn't have to buy from him and refused to give our $150 deposit back. He only takes cash. Be very wary of this man and his business.
