This is our regular Chinese Food Place now! Good food for your money! I enjoy every time we eat there or take out the quality is the same!
Moved to the area a few years ago and I asked who has the best AUTHENTIC CHINEESE FOOD. I was told CHINA KING in Brantford or Yin's. I was a little apprehensive at the menu because they serve Candian food as well and the Chinese Food on the menu is typical Canadian Chinese. The food was fine but the CHINA KING in Brantford is far superior to being authentic. If you haven't experienced China King check it out for yourself and form you're own opinion. Yin's was ok for regular Candian Style Chinese located in the middle of nowhere.
The food portions here are superb. The Dinner for two which costs $25 easily feeds four people. The food is always fresh and the service is very friendly. I would highly recommend this restaurant to all. NOTE: If you have an allergy to MSG, please be sure to specifically ask for no MSG in your meal, they will specially prepare the food without it. Also, if you are a vegetarian, they will substitute certain meat dishes in their specials and prepare their main dishes without meat. :0)
Yin's restaurant is very successful, highly known, and the most popular take out in town. Whether you want Chinese food or Canadian food (onion rings, poutine’s, burgers, etc) - you have many choices to choose from on their large menu. Each serving of food comes with large portions in cheap prices. The service is excellent, waitresses are kind and food arrives speedy. Be prepared, however, when coming in on a weekend or during Pumpkinfest you make have to wait to be seated. The food came hot and fresh. Each time I visit I am always left with leftovers to take home. Yin’s is great; people come from far distances just to get the best Chinese food in town!
For starters it is located in downtown Waterford so easy access. The service is excellent and the food is fresh and always delicious. We have been going to Yins now for a year and make it a bi-weekly treat for our family. The egg rolls and chicken balls are always a favorite with my family! Would recomend this resteraunt to anyone... For a family of four (with lots of left overs) is about $40, with tip. Thank you Yins for the great dinning experience!
Best chinese takeout ever! Large portions, piping hot and very reasonably priced. Food is fresh, well prepared and exceptionally tasty! Worth a drive if you aren't from the local area and lucky for us locals Yin's is here!!
This was the best chinese food I have had in years! Everything was hot, the vegetables were fresh ... delicious. We were a large group and they were able to accomodate us quite quickly. Even with 5 teenage boys at the table, portions were so large we had leftovers... We'll come again for sure!
as always AMAZING, Food is the best, the genaral Taos has to be world renowned, The staff is very young but very well trained & friendly, for a resturant that does not serve alchohol they are always busy, & the turn over is quick & the prices are reasonable. Not only is the chinese the best around the burgers are equally as good. I definatly give a thumbs up to Howie & his staff.!!!!!!!!!!!
My wife and mother-in-law brought me to Yin's for Father's Day. We arrived early--about 4:15 p.m. However, the restaurant was packed. It's always busy and it is easy to understand why-- Yin's is extremely consistent in offering outstanding food in large quantities at very reasonable prices. No matter how busy they are, there is never a long wait for the food, and our menu selections are always hot-- never lukewarm . The servers are always efficient,patient, pleasant and very helpful in answering questions and offering suggestions re menu choices. All three of us have big appetites; however, we took home more food than we consumed. As hard as we try, we cannot find better Chinese food anywhere. And Yin's take-out business is a sight to behold-- a never-ending parade of people at all hours. If any restaurant deserves more than a perfect 10 rating, this would be the place.
This was great - not only do they have the best chinese food ever! but their canadain dishes are great too. My fav dish at Yin's is Lemon Chicken!!
First time for General Tao chicken-outstanding. All dishes were excellent--fresh ingredients,very large portions and extremely reasonable prices. This gem is one of the best Chinese restaurants we have visited in Canada and the U.S. The staff always makes us feel welcome. This place is well worth our regular pilgrimages from London.
Yin's is one of the best chinese restaurants around, and people come from all over Norfolk county, Brantford, and even Hamilton just to have a taste. Not only is the chinese food great here, the Canadian Classics are good too, one of my favorites is the Cheese Burger with fries and gravy! Yummmm! Yin's will be around for a long time, I've been going for 13 years already!
