All of these reviews are fantastic because this is a wonderful place. Their coffees and teas are absolutely delicious. The staff are super knowledgeable, friendly and treat their job as if they were the owner. As a matter fact the owner, Sarah is always there and makes sure that that place is perfection. The Canadian Maple coffee is to die for. I don’t let very many Saturdays go by without one of their Muskoka Gold coffees.

I went to Scarborough Super Store to get new glasses. The staff in the optical dept. was not only professional but extremely helpful and knowledgeable. It was a pleasure to have been attended to by such an experienced, friendly staff.

Tony and his staff deliver impeccable service. The meat and other food products are excellent. I have been a customer for approximately 20 years and I have never been disappointed. I order by phone and it’s reafy when I pick it up. I live 2 hours out of the city but continue to shop here. Thank you To y for your excellent level of service!

After discovering that Drupati's/Roti Roti was closed, I decided to visit Alima's while reading online reviews.
Warning: This is a take-out only place. There are no tables/chairs to eat-in.
When I walked in, no one was at the counter. Had to wait a coupla minutes for someone to come to the counter. This seemed normal as no one was bothered by it.
Being that it was my first visit, I had some questions that the worker patiently answered, suggesting different options. She was very helpful.
Expecting to sitdown, I ended up eating by my car, on the grass. That didn't bother me much. Food was nicely packaged, neat not spilling all over the place.
Parantha roti wasn't hot, more chewy than flaky/soft. Curry itself was very flavourful and not too salty - as I find most places tend to be.
If in the area and want to do a pick-up, I think Alima's is a good option. (Place seemed quite busy with a revolving door of people coming in to pick up their orders that they phoned in!) Although I do prefer the taste of Drupati's/Bara's Hut.

I am not sure how to spell the greatest tasting pork roll that I have ever tasted, in Canada or in Italy, from where the owner/butcher is originally from. Try Porccetta in a roll, on a plate or take a piece home and serve to your family. It is now a tradition to serve it for our family get togethers. We cannot say enough good things about it! Vicentia also serves other foods for either take-out or to sit in as lunch. The steak sandwich is terrific. They offer other butchers products such as Sausages etc and I know people who drive from as far as Midland, Hamilton and Barrie to eat here or to take their products home. Try it. You WILL like it.
