We went for my 40th - I was soooooooo hyped - rated 77th in the world!?
We had the 7 course tasting menu. GREAT service, okay restaurant atmosphere - not intimate or romantic if you take out the grounds.
The Sommelier was AMAZING - the wine pairing totally stole the show with the chef tasting menu. We are foodies - and happy friendly ones (aka not snobs) - and found the food 'good'. The tasting courses were uninspired - things were cooked properly (except the beans with the bison) - but nothing - absoloutely nothing stood out or was remarkable or memorable...other than..the bison dish.
Sadly the chef gave one of us the tail of the fillet and the other the mid - so one of us had 2 small wedges and the other 2 plump medallions...and yes YES they do taste totally different (would not have known if we hadn't switched a piece) - that being said - it was definately the BEST red meat portion I have ever eaten -not so much flavor profile wise as the way it was cooked and the source (Alberta I think) - it was 11/10 in terms of amazing. The mushroom crumble on the cheese course - great - fabulous - but honestly ..other than that nothing really memorable.
If you want an amazing chef's tasting menu - don't go. If you want the overall English estate..weekend getaway - go. If you want out of this world wine pairing - go - the Sommelier was indeed the star.

We visited on Sunday for brunch and to celebrate a birthday. We have been here before and loved it so decided to take our out of town guests here to celebrate. They were so impressed with the Blackshop. We had intimate seating for the 6 of us. Several in our group ordered the eggs benedict and they were delicious! Eggs were perfectly poached. There was live music which we really enjoyed. The volume was just right. We will be back again soon!

I love this place been going here for years and the food is always top notch, prices are great and the wait staff is amazing! The bread they bring out before the dinner is delicious, and the atmosphere is beautiful! Dim, candle on the table, nice calm music playing its very romantic and won't empty your wallet!

We have been to Mediteraneo several times. Each visit has always delivered an excellent meal. I usually have the Lamb dinner and while you might pay a bit more for this, it is a very large order, with delicious lemon roast potatoes, tzaziki, rice and a greek salad. Enough to share or take home to tmorrows lunch. I have also had the lamb souvlaki dinner and while you might only get one skewer of meat, you also get the rice, potato, salad and tzaziki. Service is excellent, and friendly. Highly recommend it.

On recommednation of a friend as well as restaurantica reviews we decided to try Speekezzies for a mid week meal. We were promplty (and pleasantly) seated is this family establishment. Alot of selection on the menu but what sparked our interest was the lamb chop special. We asked to substitue the mashed potatoes for homemade ricotta gnocchi - lovely and flavorful- upgrade charges applied. Service was fine - nothing omitted. wine portions were a little small for value but everything else made up for that. Decor could use an update to perhaps draw a differnt clientele as return customers. However, it was adequate for us and we will definately return.

We ordered East Sides for Mothers Day and we were not disappointed!! We usually don't order out on big holidays as we know everywhere is crazy busy but we decided to treat ourselves this year and are glad we did. Portion sizes were spot on, food was hot and delicious and the staff were amazing. Great job!! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend and will be back!

I have taken my 8 year old daughter there on several occasions for supper. Every time we eat well, are treated well and get to relax and actually enjoy each others company. I love how the staff makes my daughter feel special by remembering her, using her name, actually talking to her and listening to her answers. On top of all that the food is delicious and affordable. It is one of Guelphs hidden gems.

A great all round experience. The food was excellent, the price was beyond reasonable, the service was good and the place was bustling with happy people. The Rowe Farms natural beef burger comes with your choice of organic salad or fries or they are cheerfully willing to serve you half fries and half salad. Has to be the best deal in town and still on the healthy side.

This is a gem of a restaurant, tucked into a strip mall. Eaten there three times now, and consistently the food is fresh, tasty, and well prepared. Some highlights - great hot and sour soup; fantastic General Tao's chicken, and fantastic chicken balls. Try the crab cheese wontons for a nice treat, as well.

We decided to give Miltons another try since it's been a while that we've gone. We were pleasantly surprised. The inside of the restaurant has been revamped, and the food quality and portion sizes have returned to previous days. We stopped our weekly night outs here when they changed the sizes and prices, but the group will definitely be returning. You've changed our opinion with positive change. Well done!

I know that some people are not big fans of spicy food, but if you are and your looking for the best spicy food around >>Hot Wok's General Tao's Chicken is the way to go.Even if you dont like spicy food i would prefere there menu over anything. There dumplings are mouth watering and the service with them is amazing! You want Fast/Affordable/Food Delivery Then look no further.

Wild Wings serve up some of the most unique wings . The wings were quite delicious, there were MANY flavours to choose from. Very unique flavours such as Thai and Raspberry and Pineapple curry! However, they tasted quite ordinary, there wasn't a WOW factor. The service was great, our waitress was very friendly and helpful. And the atmosphere was very fun.
Our bill was quite expensive though; we paid $40 in total for 20 wings and 2 small iced teas.
