The Decor is fantastic. Tables and chairs are well-constructed, and the lighting sets a charming mood.
The food is well-prepared and fresh. Honey Garlic Sesame Chicken (not quite General Tao, but close enough) was very crunchy and well-textured. They used real honey so the sauce on the chicken was thick and rich. The beef rollover was good and cooked well but could have had a bit more sauce in it, a little dry to chew and swallow. The real treat was the soup-filled pork dumplings which exploded with flavour every time.
This is an active and busy restaurant, so be prepared for lots of people eating and settling at tables. The staff works to clear the tables quickly, but they can sometime seem abrupt in their manner. Washroom has modern fixtures and is kept clean.

In my experience Borna provides the best blow out in town. Don’t let the small store from misguide you, then service and quality is better than any name brand and large salon offering in the GTA. But at affordable prices and with an accessible booking schedule. Perfect for busy working women or women who go want regular style without overpaying. Like your own personal stylist in the neighbourhood. Totally recommend to any and everyone!

We, and our family have been going to First Choice for many many years. Never discouraged for price increases, as that is expected.
However, it is very inconsiderate increasing hair cut prices by about 15% the first day after being closed for so long. I realize you have lost a lot financially but your customers are not to blame. They have lost a lot as well. Perhaps if we had received a card for 10 or 15% off our next cut, it would have stung a little less.

My haircut was done by Giancarlo, who helped make my thick, bulky looking hair look much more soft and not as heavy as it felt. My highlights and styling was done by Alexandria and I absolutely loved the job she did! She helped me achieve the look I wanted. Overall, I am very impressed with Scruples and will definitely be returning in the future.
