Some people choose their professions based on market trends, others on the people they work with. But for Kyle Smallegange, founder of Alpha Pro Painting, what led him to professional painting was his entrepreneurial spirit. “I’ve worked for a lot of different people in a lot of different roles,” Kyle says. “But what I like most about my job now is that I’m my own boss.”

Officially opened in 2013, Kyle had already been a painter on-and-off for years. Originally, he started as a way to help his family and friends, but soon more people were seeking out his services. “Painting used to be a weekend thing for me,”Kyle recalls. “It’s something I’m good at, so I kept getting more and more jobs until I had to take it on full-time. Since then, we’ve only gotten bigger.”

Now, his painting expertise ranges from residential properties to commercial buildings and new housing developments in the Toronto and Durham Region.

    Kyle just finishe...

    Kyle just finished painting the inside and exterior of the house, in addition to other things I asked to be done, and did a magnificent job. The place looks wonderful, so clean, open and airy. All of the furniture that was moved for painting was arranged accordingly. On time, on budget, and kept me up-to-date with all of the work being done. We highly recommend Alpha Pro Painting. Thank you for this.

    Alpha pro painting, Kyle did an excellent job painting my house. I feel like its a new home. He is the most polite gentleman we have ever met. I absolutely recommend anyone to contact Kyle to do the painting. You will not regret it.

    Kyle from Alpha Pro Painters did an amazing job painting my entire home.It now feels like ours! He prepped my walls so they looked new again! He was quick, efficient and neat - all for a great price. He definitely went above our expectations and was a pleasure to work with. Highly recommended.

    We hired Kyle to ...

    We hired Kyle to paint the entire inside of our house as well as our outside deck. Kyle was very professional and friendly. He was also very reliable and communicated in a timely manner. He completed the job on time, was exceptionally neat and did an excellent job. His price was also very fair for the work completed. I would definitely recommend Kyle for any paint work.

    We hired Kyle to paint our kitchen and family room and he did an exceptional job! He is very reliable, efficient, personable and definitely knows what he's doing. I also loved that there was no mess to clean up afterwards and it was so affordable! We would highly recommend him and will be hiring him again in the future. Thanks again. Great job!
