We bought the offered additional “insurance” cover, which we were glad about when we accidentally scratched the side of the van. We were less happy when a $1000 “deductible” was added to our bill the following day. The van was already scratched up and the manager (who had failed to disclose the deductible up-front) refused to confirm that the money would go to repairs - so we were fined a four figure sum for scratching an already-scratched older vehicle. This is not how insurance should be sold.

They really came through for me, wow! Their van was clean, solid, and I can tell they take good care of their vehicles. They totally came through for me when I needed them the most!

Gary provided excellent customer service. We were stranded without a vehicle and on his day off heopened his doors and helped us get on the road. He saved our vacation! We can't Thank you enough Gary

First, the owner is a very rude man. We rented a large cargo truck and we asked if he would come in early so we can could the first ferry - i.e. - 7:30 a.m pick-up. They said no but would be there by 7:45. 7:50 my husband got out of there - missed his ferry reservation and the ferry. Why wouldnt a company serving a community governed by the ferry be more flexible with their hours?

Horrible experience with Prime Rentals. Bought their walk-awayinsurance (the lady confirmed), which was pricey and returned the car in what we thought was absolutely perfect condition, they even did a check themselves with a walk-around and confirmed it was ok, other than it being dusty and dirty. We had no incidents whatsoever (otherwise I most definitely wouldnt be writing this bad review), yet we were called and told the car had a large scratch on it and we now owed $300. Whats more, we w
