    Bought a butterfl...

    Bought a butterflied leg of lamb for our Christmas dinner. Never cooked with a local lamb before, was worried it may be to gamy or tough. I stuffed it with goat cheese and spinach the meat cut like butter! The butcher was kind enough to cut up the bones for me to make a gravy. The best Christmas dinner to date!

    I love this little shop. Really good selection of high quality meat and deli products that are always reasonably priced. Honestly though, what keeps me coming back is the service- you can tell the people running the place are passionate about it, and it's reflected in the quality of their products. I'd highly recommend the fresh pies and spicy-half chickens!

    Great lamb roast...

    The shop looks pretty simple from the outside and was a bit hard to spot driving down the street...but the guy working inside spent 15mins prepping a killer lamb roast for us, in a great rosemary marinade. Good value, was delicious. Would go back!
