The atmosphere is like a true Mexican cantina. The food was AMAZING - the best I have had outside of the southern US. The service was very friendly but not overbearing so you could relax and enjoy. I will not go into Barrie for Mexican food again - going to Bradford from now on!
We have visited twice; the first time we were blown away and I couldn't wait to go back. The second visit was much more disappointing, we were treated like pariahs - the service was TERRIBLE. We were ignored by a waiter who did not look particularly busy. It regressed to the point where I stopped him as he went by and told him to cancel the beer I had ordered and just bring the bill so we could leave - 15 minutes later, we received the bill. I don't know what happened, but the service was easily the worst ever. I'd like to think that is unusual for the place, but we haven't gone back since. Not sure if we will.
