We visited for an early dinner, right after the restaurant opened at 5:30pm.
Food was very tasty, but only complaint would be that it's quite pricey. Dinner for two, with small servings, was $40+! And no alcohol was ordered. Much more than eating at an Asian restaurant.
Ambiance is nice though! Be prepared to pay more to enjoy it tho'.
1st & last time at this restaurant!!!!! (Rather Stay home and heat up PC Indian food!!!)
Like the title states (and please read "experimenting's" review on 04/30/08), I would rather buy the Presidents Choice Indian food then attempt to eat at this restaurant again. First of all when we got there (today at 6:30pm), It took 4 waiting staff to decide where to seat us when the entire place, other than one couple, was empty!!! Once seated, the waiter was very slow in taking drink orders. One thing I will admit that the pina colada was tastey!!!! Once food was ordered, thinking that this might be a fine establishment, it may take awhile to get all the dishes prepared, but man the chef must be superchef because it was all prepared and served within 6-7 minutes!!! The portions were terrible for the price, and the flavour is typical of your typical indian $6.99 dinner buffet food. Now, I know why they call some of their items the chef's special. These dishes have all the same curry, just the main part is substituted with either veg or non-veg. The WORST PART was that they brought over a chicken dish and told my mother who is a pure vegan (by religion) that it was a vege dish. My mother had prepared her entire plate and was just about the dive into it when another waiter came running to tell us that it was a non veg dish instead of a veg dish (by the way not even a sorry). So I told the waiter to remove her entire plate and replace it with a clean one. Once we were all done I asked for the bill and to my surprise they had enough nerve to incl. gratuities (we were 3 adults and 2 children). I told the waiter that I will pay his bill but never return I even wrote a note on the back of the bill for the owner/manager to visit this site to read the review!!!!
P.s. I forgot to mention, if you are going this time of year, please wear light clothing as they don't believe in using an A/C (34 degrees today!!!) and bring your own spoon as they do not provide one!!!!!
