Ordered the beef and green pepper and I t was mixed with carrots and lots of onions. Only a few pieces of green peppers in the whole dish. The meat was pale and the dish was disappointing. Also ordered S&S chicken balls and egg rolls. They were deeply fried and greasy as tho they were cooked earlier and only heated up when we ordered. The Chinese vegetables with almonds contained only the stems of broccoli, onions, canned mini corn cobs and was drenched in a flavourless sauce. Disappointing!!!
My husband and I order from China House whenever we feel like chinese. We have only ever gotten take out but it is consistantly good food and we have never had any problems with China House. Portions are reasonable and the prices aren't too bad for chinese food.
I love eating here! Its the best chinese restaurant in st. thomas. Could have a few more items on the buffet, but it is a great. too bad about the bean sprout thing right now, but that is all restaurants not just this one.
