    over priced average gyro cash only!

    I moved to Windsor a year ago and have since tried every gyro place that has been recommended to me. Mr shishkebab does have a tasty gyro and fries, BUT it is double the price it should be. $12.50 for just the gyro and $3 for fries!!! Also not as big as everyone says. Nick the Greek had the best gyro imho, he makes the meat himself portion is even bigger, and the atmosphere is much nicer. And its only $6.50 Greek pitas has a great gyro too and is only $5 and its huge! but no atmosphere...

    Great Food, Great Service

    I have to say, that the food here is very good. I'd say the price is very high for that kind of dish, but I assure you that you do get your money's worth. Very well cooked Lamb, a large amount of lamb in the Gyro, and a large amount of fries as well. The customer service is pretty good there. I would say that the Restaurant interior could use some other decoration, but the small "cafe" style atmosphere fits the type of food. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who can afford the price.

    Best in the City

    Best gyros in the city....This is a very comfortable family place large portions sometimes too much if you can believe it, Great service if you like home cooked Greek food this place is for you.

    Amazing gyros! A friend took my husband and I here for our first time. The portions you get are large and the food tastes excellent! Cute little place on the corner with great service!

    I am not the owner

    I eat from Mr. Shishkebab's both inside and take out. The food is always superb. It is always a special treat. Not long ago I was there with four people, one of them had a condition that required she only eat gluten free. The owner took extra steps to accommodate her condition. We all had a very enjoyable meal. As a family we have a Christmas tradition that we watch It's a wonderful Life and order our Gyro's from Mr. Shishkebab's . We are never disappointed. At the restaurant they have a sign posted about their prices. It say's something about their customers know why their prices are what they are. They are not wrong. This is not a fast food chain. It is real food. They take pride in their food and you can taste it in every bite. When ever we have people from out of town visit we always treat them to the best Gyro in Windsor. Mr. Shishkebab.

    The good reviews are made up by the owner

    It can not be any worst. Service is very bad, Just try to ask question about why the price is expensive or ask for carry out menu. Dirty place. very old. owner cheep enough that he doesn't want to decorate or upgrade that stinky place. yes, they give a lot of gyro meat but remember that you are over charged. by the way all the good reviews are made up by the owner. Notice he keep saying in the review the same thing and (homemade) and the cheese. I will not go there.

    Super Great Food!

    Food was great! I never had a Gyro so good. The wait staff gave us extra sauce and free refills. We all were so full and had extra left over, and felt good all nite. They make it homemade you can tell. Place has been around for 30+ years? Go figure we just found out about it. The cheese is to die for. If you love cheese, you'll fall in love with this place. For what you get the price is very reasonable. Even the washrooms are clean....Great Job Here! Next we'll try take-out.
