Never been to this location before, but my wife...

Never been to this location before, but my wife LOVES it, she works right around the corner and it was valentine's day so I left it up to her to decide where to go :) As far as the food goes, the rail spikes were VERY good, not too greasy, very tasty. However, the bed of nice brown lettuce underneath wasn't too appetizing. The Buffalo Chicken Sandwich however was amazing. Quite messy, but tasted fantastic. It was HUGE as well, will definitely fill anyone up. My wife's caesar salad was quite good actually, they obviously use different lettuce for garnish! The potato wedges I had however, were not so good. They had a very strange taste to them, and did not look appetizing at all. As if they had been sitting in a steam tray for an hour or two (which they probably were). Our waitress was VERY friendly and helpful, however she disappeared once in a while when we actually needed her. No real complaints though, I've had MUCH MUCH worse service. The decor is very much like a sports bar, we should have sat in the more formal looking dining area near the front, but oh well, save that for next time :)

Although I live approx. 400 kms away, I always...

Although I live approx. 400 kms away, I always make Cahps a destination whenever I am in the area. I've been coming here since my high school days in the early eighties. Although the new restaurant has a bit nicer amenities than the old place, not much else has changed. The wings are still outstanding, as are the appetizers and entrees... unfortunately I rarely ever get past the wings on the menu. Not sure what those folks down the road in Buffalo keep raving about; they may have invented the whole wing idea... but you guys perfected it! Keep up the good work, and I eagerly look forward to my next meal at Chaps!

I love Chaps everytime we go there the staff is...

I love Chaps everytime we go there the staff is very welcoming and the food is always good. I go atleast once to twice a month for their wings. They are amazing. Everyone should go to this restaurant. Yeah the one room is a little to tiny but who cares you are there for the food. If you dont like the climate in the restaurant take your food home. The manager is also super nice. The one time we had a problem he came right over and resolved it and also gave us a free meal.
