I've lived in two buildings in the last 1.5 years that are both managed by Brookfield and they are great!
Response to issues is very quick. I usually get a call or email back same day or next day even if it's acknowledgement that they received my voice mail/email.
They are helpful and ensure they send someone to review the current issue at hand. I've had several issues with this condo from a noisy HVAC system to a water leak in my bedroom. The buzzing coming from the HVAC system was fixed in several days and the leak in the bedroom was fixed in less than 7 days by assessing it was pipes from the condo above me leaking down the walls. They cut out a portion of the wall, fixed the pipe upstairs, let the wall dry out and replaced it so it looked brand new - in less than 7 days. I'm impressed!

Things have significantly improved during the last 2 years. All of the leaking roofs have been fixed and a solid fiscal plan has been put into place.
Condo fees did go up, but this year, they will not significantly increase.
My roof was leaking and I had considered selling my property but now I am glad that I stayed. There was a new manager during the last year, and she is phenomenal. She is on top of things and I can see a different in our community. She is also nice and approachable.
