We are Maids Cottage regulars and have rarely if ever been disappointed. The food is as close to home cooked as you will ever get in any restaurant, in any city, anywhere in the world. We're not talking Haute Cuisine here but Comfort Food. Any of the rare times there has been anything that I didn't like or took to long (they can be very,very busy at times) the staff has been more than accommodating about making it right. It is no secret in this restaurant community as to the reason for certain negative reviews. It is just so sad and appalling that this is going on. My only wish is that the reviews being posted by “virtual” customers cease as it is becoming, quite frankly, very tiresome and extremely predictable. Let’s leave this space for “authentic” customers. It is incomprehensible how this continues. When success is achieved through honesty, morals and a strong work ethic it is a shame that those who do not share these qualities try to ride the coattails of those who do and take the low road by continually trying to defame them. I wish the family run La Mexicanada Restaurant continued success. After 9 years of backbreaking hard work and a strong devotion to their customers and paisanos they deserve nothing less. The food is 100% authentic, the recipes are from the owner’s own family, who by the way are an “authentic” Mexican family still residing in “authentic” Mexico. Probably the best breakfast I have ever had at a restaurant. I have been back 5x this month alone! The bacon is thick. Homefries are real potatoes and seasoned to perfection. I always order the bacon with 3 eggs, homefries and toast, with coffee. Total comes to just over $8.00. Free coffee refills and a fresh skewer of fruit (not a dried orange slice, but apples, pineapple, strawberry, melon, orange and sometimes even a gooseberry)! The meal has always been served piping hot and the coffee never gets to the bottom. I love it at Hot Stacks. Thank you for a great breakfast, every time! Lire plus

Bangkok Thai Cuisine was fantastic! From the moment we stepped into the restaurant, the service was excellent. The owner is lovely and so personable, along with her staff. We started off with the Appetizer Assortment which was soooo good and made us excited for what was to follow. We opted for the Pad Thai and we were not disappointed – it was perfectly prepared with just enough sauce and plenty of chicken and tiger shrimps. Finally, we had the Chicken Cashew and the Mixed Vegetables. Both were excellent! Overall, everything was absolutely delicious and so fresh. We will definitely be returning! Lire plus

This is the Mandarin we always go to in our home town. The staff is always friendly, cleanliness of the restaurant is always excellent, and the food and desserts are always bountiful and fresh! What a great night! I havent visited this pub in a while but Im glad I did again. Enjoyed a nice dinner with friends with great service and a fun atmosphere. I recognized the same staff from years ago when I last came by and happy to see theyre still there enjoying themselves. All were super helpful and knowledgeable about menu items/drinks. My gf has some food allergies, and they were able to tell us what she should not have etc as well gave us a gluten free menu. I loved the food at Golden Bell. Newmarket has a lot of Thai restaurants and while most of them are good, I feel this one greatly stands out as the best. They have a very inexpensive lunch menu and a quaint dining room if you don't opt for take-out. The service is nothing spectacular as far as dining in goes but it is passable. Wow ! What a great place to eat and have a good time. The food was delicious and and restaurant is beautiful now ! I was here for a party last week we had so much fun. They had music, people danced , great singer !! Our waiter made us laugh and is really good looking too . Last time i was here was 8 years ago and place looked kind of old fashioned and not well kept. Now they made changes in every way and I have to admit this restaurant is better than most in every way. Mei Ling has been around since we moved to Aurora 26 years ago and the food is always consistent (Great) their Chilli Squid is one of their specialty and it is to die for. Mei Ling is our only choice my family loves it. The people who own it are wonderful too always polite curtious and always making sure that their customers are happy.
