Seriously, best restaurant i have been to! Donatello on Elm in Toronto - the service was sooo good - made very special by our knowlwedgable server! The food - sublime! I highly recommend it! What a night!!! The lamb was perfect, and the seafood pasta in a pernod cream sauce to die for. Such wondeful hosts! OMG!They even wrote Happy Birthday Michelle in chocolate around my tiramisu. I loved the atmosphere. Will go back to have the tuna tartare. I had some beef thing on lettuce - it was incredibly bland and for desert I had the eclair which was stale and the cream was hardened. I love the new decor! My husband and I shared the Warm Salad special, which was fantastic. I had the Duo of Duck and my husband tried the special which was Beef Cheek. Both were really, really good. We ordered a nice bottle of wine, which was very reasonably priced. Service was attentive and professional, with just enough friendliness. We will definitely be back. Not sure why the previous poster thinks they use pre-made sauces, because they definitely DO NOT!! Lire plus
