Stopped in after my wife found it on the 'net. I had the Chicken Pad Thai which is by far the tastiest dinner I've eaten in a long time. Filling too, almost needed a doggie bag. This is my first review, which I felt compelled to write seeing a negative one here. Don't believe it, this place is clean, nicely decorated and you can't beat the food. We chatted with the owner for about 15 minutes. Polite to a fault. I'm definitely coming back. And it's 2.5 hours away. Lire plus

I dont understand the previous negative reviews...? I have been going here for years and the food has been always good. I have never received bad service. The service is average but never bad. Everything is fresh and tasty. Our favourites are Dynamite roll, Volcano Roll, Bonsai Roll to name a few.. Don't listen to the previous negative reviews - makes no sense why they are complaining! All homemade food using fresh ingredients. I loved that the sauces (especially the sweet and sour) are not commercially made. Also, loved that the vegetables were crisp. The owners were friendly and very accommodating. My family of 4 went with our friends (family of 3) and they allowed us to rearrange the tables so we could all sit together. We have 2 growing teenage boys and dont typically have much leftovers but left here with 2 very full takeout containers from the dinner for 4. Will be back Lire plus

I went the other day with a couple of friends and I have to say it was a nice cozy place to spend the day with a couple of friends. The sushi was tasty, the service was great. They were so polite and friendly. To the person below, this is Canada. Not Japan or anywhere else in Asia, where their specialties are Asian food. Also didn't help the fact you had high expectations going in which could have affected your overall impression. "Worst sushi" is not something I would use for this restaurant. I loved the food at Golden Bell. Newmarket has a lot of Thai restaurants and while most of them are good, I feel this one greatly stands out as the best. They have a very inexpensive lunch menu and a quaint dining room if you don't opt for take-out. The service is nothing spectacular as far as dining in goes but it is passable. Bangkok Thai Cuisine was fantastic! From the moment we stepped into the restaurant, the service was excellent. The owner is lovely and so personable, along with her staff. We started off with the Appetizer Assortment which was soooo good and made us excited for what was to follow. We opted for the Pad Thai and we were not disappointed – it was perfectly prepared with just enough sauce and plenty of chicken and tiger shrimps. Finally, we had the Chicken Cashew and the Mixed Vegetables. Both were excellent! Overall, everything was absolutely delicious and so fresh. We will definitely be returning! Lire plus
