Have dealt with them for 35 years, they are very helpful with problems and their service call charges are not out of line pricewise. Have had two service calls on my security system in 25 years and both times was fixed, but you can't send a truck and two service people for free. The charges were reasonable for what they had to do. I went to Etobicoke Service Centre to replace my Beam electric hose which was 34 years old, and the carpet sweeper. I was also concerned if the unit, which was 15 years old, was working properly. Bill was very helpful and I ended up purchasing a new Beam central vac with all the accessories for a very reasonable price. Bill came to do the installation. I had a very positive and informative experience shopping at this store. My old central vacuum motor had burned out after only 5 years. Regrettably I had purchased it from Costco. Joe at Vacmaster showed me the different motors that are used in central vacuums. I could tell right away the difference. I purchased the Canavac LS550 and had them install it for me the next day.
