When my mom broke her hip after a fall, she was discharged from the hospital with no PSW support. Since she also has Alzheimer’s and dementia, we were scared and overwhelmed. We first tried a retirement home, but the care is awful and expensive. A doctor from Markham Stouffville Hospital recommended Nurse Next Door, and their home care team was very good.
