Service was exceptional!!! The owner of the restaurant and his wife (I wish we asked for their names but unfortunately didn’t) were extremely nice the whole time! Also accommodated really well for a nut allergy, which is uncommon in my experience, so big thanks go to their chefs. The food was incredible. Koto sushi is fantastic. I work nearby and went her after with some office buds instead of the usual shoeless joes burger. The sushi is absolutely phenomenal, probably the best sushi ive had in Ontario. Service is fast. I would recommend all you can eat. they give you so much variety and it just keeps on coming. I definitely plan on coming back again and would recommend this to couples or groups of friends looking for something new. Lire plus

When it comes to fine dining, Lord Nelsons definitely does not disappoint. With delicious food and quality service, I would have to say this is one of the classiest restaurants in the Hamilton area. The first thing you notice when you walk in is the warming and peaceful atmosphere. There are only a handful of tables and a bar in the whole restaurant and it makes for a almost private and intimate dinner experience. This is not a jeans and t-shirt type of place, everyone inside is dressed professional and fancy. I would recommend a dress and heels for the women and dress pants and button down shirt for the men. And obviously from my previous statements this is not really what I would call a family restaurant. With the close tables and quiet music I would think children would feel out of place at an establishment like this. Nonetheless I feel like it is a great date night place, very romantic and relaxing. The menu I would say is perfect for the restaurant. It includes a variety of different meal choices but doesn't overwhelm the customer. We had chosen the Peppercorn steak and the Filet mignon for our main courses. I would say that they were better then what I expected, cooked and seasoned perfectly, I would definitely recommend there food to anyone. The main courses range anywhere from $20 - $60 which is a little higher then your average dinner but in the end I think it is worth the little extra price for the quality. The only concern I had about going here was their location. It was a little difficult to find as it is located in a small plaza tucked away beside a laundromat. Also the exterior of the restaurant is not what you would expect for a high class place like this, and I didn't find it all that appealing. The front doors are very Castle like and there are no windows at all. At first glance I thought it was closed. But if you can get past that It was great experience and I would recommend it to anyone. I have been to Lousiana last Summer and left with a bad experiance and thought of not going back again.. since all my friends forced me to go i went with them really I felt the difference comparing to my last vist.. its been newly renovated and a beautiful patio to relax and have a beer to chill out with friends. Staff really friendly and they have variety of food menu to decide on. They have a plate called land and sea which comes with lobster, Steak and shrimps which really value for money and good quality i was really impressed with the servise provided and i spoke to the Manager of Lousiana he told me how this was earlier and the new management is really working on with food quiality and provide great customer service... I will definelty go to Louisiana again and do recommand to my friends... WELL DONE LOUISIANA KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!!! Lire plus
