This is my second visit to Splice's new S Burger addition. I first heard of it when I saw a Wagjag. Although I was hesitant at first, I figured that every joint is at least worth a try. I was expecting rather mediocre food given that the venue's primary face is a nightclub. I think this is the same reason why they are not getting the number of patrons they deserve. The food was surprisingly good. Excellent burger & fries served with a pleasantly garlicy aioli, and the organic wings with housemade sauces were quite good as well. The service is hit or miss depending on who you get (the dark haired girl was very attentive and accommodating).
If you haven't tried out Splice since the addition of S Burger, I would highly recommend it. Quality ingredients & good service. Just don't order the coffee...

Hung is a very good and experienced mechanic who explains the problem and repair. My experience has been that he can diagnose a problem accurately and efficiently, so you are paying for actual repair instead of the run-around that comes with inexperience, incompetence and an I-couldn't-care-less attitude. No sloppy work here; Hung clearly takes pride in his work.

Thurston's diner is an unpretentious gem. A comfortable familial place where you want to go again. Warm, homemade food, diner standards done right. Great French fries and home fries. There's always a fresh pot of coffee, its really an extension of your family living room and that's exactly what it should be.

I had an appointment that was a week away for an oil change and to have my tires switched to snows. My tire had a flat this morning so I called Johns quality and they had no problem fitting me in to do the above with very short notice when they were very busy and fully booked. I highly highly recommend. We have gone to Johns for a few years now and would never look back. My husband and I are more than pleased. We are never overcharged and always get incredible service. I've had a few things painted at Fred's including an entire body kit and the work they did was great. All the business I've brought to Fred's was out of pocket car upgrades so I did my research on quality of work and pricing and this place can't be beat. Rick there knows his paint and took his time helping me select the right shade of white recently for even just a small spoiler. Highly recommended.

I brought a foster dog from The Animal Guardian Society to Bark and I was very impressed with how clean and friendly their boutique environment is. The groomers were very friendly and made me feel very comfortable about leaving him there to get groomed. When I went to pick up my foster dog I couldn't believe what an amazing job the groomers did. His fur was so soft, he smelt amazing and his cut was gorgeous! I could tell they took their time to make sure he looked his best for his new home.

I wanted to let everyone know how amazing Jack and Elmira were with me this week. I am married 50 yrs this fall and wanted to incorporate my wedding rings and my mothers wedding band. I was having no luck getting it done when a friend suggested I try MJEAS jewellers. What a stroke of luck. They did exactly what I wanted, did it very quickly and the price was very reasonable. 1/3 the cost compared to stores at the OC to have one of the rings sized. I am a VERY happy customer.

We have used Havelock Auto for a number of years for a variety of services. We always found Paul and his staff helpful and accommodating. Our cottage is on Round Lake in Havelock. Whenever possible we try to wait until we get to Havelock to get our cars serviced. It is much cheaper than the city and we have always been happy with the work they have done.
I would strongly recommend Havelock Truck and Auto.
