Was extremely pleased with the Leila location yesterday, was there around six yesterday with their cleanliness. When we arrived the hand sanitizer was empty, told the girl at the door and as soon as she seated us she went and filled it. As we were eating they were cleaning a booth, two different cloths one for the table and one for the seats, that impressed us too. I have been going to Kenora for years but had always passed by Casey's because it didn't look like anything special from the outside. But finally I went in and WOW! The menu was very impressive and had a wide array of family type food (burgers, steak and crap) but all with some kind of gourmet twist, like lamb or bison burgers with blue cheese or something like that. The drinks were awesome, the staff excellent, atmosphere great and the food better. Prices were also very reasonable, a definite recommendation! oh yeah sweet potato fries are a must! Lire plus

I visit Kelseys on a month basis, isometimes it with 4-6 girlfriends for dinner before a movie, or 8+ people for a birthday celebration or lunch with a friend. In the past several years I have only had (1) negative experience, and when I brought that to the franchise owners attention, he went above and beyond what any other place has done when things have gone wrong. This is a very busy establishment and if you go, please expect to wait, don't go especially during the dinner hour is you have to be somehwere in an hour, i's not going to happen. I find the staff friendly, well versed in the menu and always willing to please..it's ALL In how you ask or go about voicing your complaint...try to be tactful and you will receive better results. Remember many of these people that work these jobs are pain minimum wage...sure they get tips..but having been a waitress (20+ years) ago...the public is the most demanding and many believe that they are entitled to more than what they are receiving. BTW ate on the patio late last fall...what a nice experience. Lire plus

The place seemed very busy but the coffee pot was still circulated and offered quite a few times... REAL Scandinavian!!!. That was a real treat.. I have been going to this Restaurant since it opened and think It Is unfair that you allow people to post comments against the owner.. Every time and I mean Every time myself and my party has been there we have been treated with the utmost respect. Our servers have been great and the food has been Fantastic. The owner has always gone out of his way to to make sure everything Is to our satisfaction. As for yelling at his employee's have NEVER seen it one time..Maybe you should stop to think before posting these slanderous reviews that these might be disgruntled employees who do not want to work but stand around texting or showing customers their tattoo's among other things which i have seen in other shops..My family and I will go back to rooster and continue to go back. We were all totally impressed with the food. We have dined here 3 or 4 times in the last 8 months and all times were very impressed. Their fish and chips is amazing...best fried fish I have ever tasted...not greasy at all, the batter was unique to what I've ever experienced before and absolutely delicious. Salads are excellent and portions for all food is large. Excellent value for the meal portions and taste of the food. Atmosphere is very relaxing - casual dress. The wait staff are competent and pleasant. We look forward to going back again and again, as we've never been disappointed. Lire plus
