I recently read about Panino Cappuccino in the Toronto Sun. There was an article talking about this "hidden gem". I would have never expected such a cute Italian restaurant to have been in the small Weston rd. plaza I pass by every day. Well kudos to the author because they were totally right! I decided to give it a try! I took my girlfirend one Friday night & the place was packed! We were however greeted right away and scored a corner booth! We shared the Italian Springs Rolls (UNREAL!) to start. I had the penne alla vodka and my friend had the seabass which was the special for the night. The food was exceptionally good and definately impressed my friend and I. The servers were also great & the atmosphere was very cozy. On our way out we even had the opportunity to meet one of the brothers/owners 'Fabio' who was also very nice. Can't wait to go back for more yummy spring rolls! Lire plus

For all you can eat Ginza can't be beat. The staff is super friendly and the service is quick and attentive. The food is great and I would totally recommend it for all you can eat sashimi, sushi, and teppanyaki. Food: Last week was my first time trying Koganei so I didn't get to try lots of food. However, Koganei roll was one of the best roll I ever had. it's bit pricey for a roll (almost $15 with tax) but it's worth it. I do not know exactly what's in the roll (it's shrimp tempura roll with some little bit spicy orange-red stuff with tiny fish eggs on the top) but it was amazing. (I wish red stuff on the top was more spicier though.) I also tried miso base noodle soup (noodles and veggies in miso soup) which was salty for my taste. did not really like it. Service: wait staffs were nice and helpful. when i went, there weren't many people in the restaurant so i didn't have to wait long to order and get my food. Atmosphere: table setting seemed little weird to me because little table for 2 people were placed right next to booth but decor was good. Lire plus

I went over the weekend with my friends for dinner, and the food was great. We were unsure of where to go out to but we were able to find Take online from their website. The food was amazing and their services were great. It wasn't too expensive and the fish was very fresh. I especially enjoyed their Tuna. Bangkok Thai Cuisine was fantastic! From the moment we stepped into the restaurant, the service was excellent. The owner is lovely and so personable, along with her staff. We started off with the Appetizer Assortment which was soooo good and made us excited for what was to follow. We opted for the Pad Thai and we were not disappointed – it was perfectly prepared with just enough sauce and plenty of chicken and tiger shrimps. Finally, we had the Chicken Cashew and the Mixed Vegetables. Both were excellent! Overall, everything was absolutely delicious and so fresh. We will definitely be returning! Lire plus

I loved the food at Golden Bell. Newmarket has a lot of Thai restaurants and while most of them are good, I feel this one greatly stands out as the best. They have a very inexpensive lunch menu and a quaint dining room if you don't opt for take-out. The service is nothing spectacular as far as dining in goes but it is passable. I try to go to The Longest Yard once every week., and I have been since shortly after it opened. The staff and management are friendly and welcoming and the food is decently priced for the portion/quality you get. It's a 5 minute walk from Islington subway station so if you're planning on drinking, it definitely saves money on cab fare. If you drive, there's quite a bit of parking on Bloor and on Eagle (side street). They have one of the best burgers I've ever eaten, and the beef is organic. They have other options as well, though the menu isn't fully organic. Every day, they have specials for dinner. Fish and Chips tend to be a special on Friday and Sunday night, and it's really good. The added bonus for me is that I'm a Baseball fan and The Longest Yard is the only place I go to where even if there's playoff Hockey and Basketball on, at least one TV will have Baseball and I won't be told "Sorry, nobody wants to watch Baseball." It caters to the family as well as the Sports fans. I was there for the Superbowl and for the Olympic Gold Hockey match. It's not the type of place where people go to get completely drunk, loud, and obnoxious though people are drinking. They also have contests during big events where you can win prizes and even cash! I liked this place since 10 years ago. They always serve good quality food, with reasonable price. Every time before I go to airport or back to Canada, I always visit this nice place. I went the other day with a couple of friends and I have to say it was a nice cozy place to spend the day with a couple of friends. The sushi was tasty, the service was great. They were so polite and friendly. To the person below, this is Canada. Not Japan or anywhere else in Asia, where their specialties are Asian food. Also didn't help the fact you had high expectations going in which could have affected your overall impression. "Worst sushi" is not something I would use for this restaurant. I definitely recommend it for a night out with your friends and family or even just a lunch with a friend. Lire plus
