We hired Solaris to ‘renovate’ our front yard which was covered in rocks, weeds, trees threatening to fall on our home and a sidewalk that was, at best, a hazard. They did a phenomenal job understanding our needs, incorporating our hopes, and creating a great proposal for us. Their execution was prompt, professional, and exactly as promised. We appreciate great service and love the fact that Solaris was able to over-deliver on our expectations. My regular hairdresser had gone on maternity leave, so I was searching for a new stylist. Reviews on Yelp for The Beauty Parlour were great, so I decided to give it a try.
From the moment you walk in the entire atmosphere (music, decor, etc.) have an incredibly calming effect. Parking wasn't an issue, and it's at the beginning of Whyte Ave before you start running into a lot of traffic. Aspen, the manager, was very efficient, polite, and welcomed me right away. My stylist, Alysha, listened to what I wanted, made some great suggestions for cut, colour, and styling techniques, made me feel very comfortable (latte.. yes please! Scalp massage... thank you!!) and did a fantastic job on my hair.
As well, the products are sulphate, paraben, and ammonia free. Great news for pregnant ladies and anyone trying to live a less toxic lifestyle! They still work great; in fact, the hair products I left with work better than any other high end items I've purchased in the past, and smell amazing!
I left extremely relaxed and happy with the overall experience. I will definitely be back, and would recommend this salon to anyone.

I did my EMR course 3 years ago and came back to renew my certificate. After already attending Alfred's class previously, I was looking forward to the renewal. He didn't disappoint with his sense of hummour to keep us engaged. He is also super knowledgeable on all courses and Alberta standards. When you don't understand something he makes sure to explain differently so you can understand. He gives you the time needed to ensure you pass and understand everything.
