We have worked with DKI Barclay on two recent insurance restorations. On both occasions they have been a pleasure to work with from start to finish. The project managers assigned to us were most knowledgeable about the work to be done. The trades persons who were sent to our home were very competent and courteous. They called prior to a scheduled site visit and were always on time. DKI Barclay would be our first choice in home restoration.

They dropped off a 20 tonne load of free wood chips. They followed the instructions exactly. Really appreciate that. They were polite, quick, did no damage and cleaned up before they left. The chips were decent quality. A little bit finely chipped. We have had more than a hundred tonnes of chips dropped off from many different companies. These guys are among the top 3. Good job.

A veritable cornucopia of eclectic items are sold here. Although they have their basic. stock merchandise, it’s the unusual stuff they bring in from wherever that sparks my interest here. I noticed in the previous comments that there were complaints about staff’s knowledge on the products but given that much of the stock can vary, it’s almost impossible for anyone to know everything. I go and browse the aisles and often scratching my head wondering at the purpose of this or that product...

Richard's restoration work is fantastic. Antique tools, antique methods, antique paper used in restoration. I have used him many times for my 16th and 17th century books. Prompt, professional tree removal… everything done from the air with scissor arm and cherry picker truck...sawyer and groundcrew very safety conscious... Face screens, hardhats, ear protectors... had a large, scary 60-foot tree and they removed it beautifully. Branches chipped... blocks cut to manageable sizes, stacked neatly if requested, or they will haul them away if you prefer. Yard and alleyway raked, debris all removed. Very good tree removal service. Do yourself a favor, call Nick’s!
