Okay, I realize that there are not a tonne of public, and for that matter private, courses in the city but you could easily include any of the courses in the 'burbs and still call this the best course. Fraserview was once considered for the PGA tour and would have been used had the city let them lengthen a couple of holes. Oh well, perhaps this keeps this gem of a course a little less busy. Perched high up from the Fraser River you would never know you are smack dab in the middle of a major residential area of the city of Vancouver. Challenging and beautiful this course has another major thing going for it...the green fees. They are so reasonable it is shocking and particularly if you are playing with a junior the rates are very reasonable. The clubhouse is also excellent and offers a wide variety of food and drinks that you can enjoy on the patio while watching players come home on 18...for my money the most challenging hole on the course...but that may be because I lose a ball in the ravine every time I play there! If you are a golfer you HAVE to play Fraserview.

McCleery is nestled in the Southlands of Vancouver and is a fabulous course for a fabulous price. Bounded by tony riding estates and the Fraser River, McCleery is a calm oasis for a relaxing...or in my case not so relaxing...game of golf. The course is rewarding to the accurate golfer and punishing to the not so accurate golfer but in all ways its a lot of fun. If you show up in advance of your tee-time there is a fantastic driving range and the rates at the range are pretty reasonable. If you have time after your round the club house is great and offer a variety of food choices and of course a range of beverages to wash down your food. The patio is great and sitting out there you would never believe you are only 20 minutes from the bustling centre of the city. For a great round of golf at a great price head over to McCleery!

I went to the Tillicum Mall medical clinic today and was impressed by the professionalism and the friendliness of the office staff. I was greeted by Pat and Cathy and found them to be extremely helpful and polite to my situation. They were fully booked at the time and they didn’t need to go above and beyond - but they did. They were able to fit me in between appointments with Dr. Perry. I was so impressed with the service from Pat, Cathy and Dr. Perry that I wanted to share my experience.

I use this store and the one in Langford as my go-to home repair and maintenance store. I actually dont always know exactly what Im looking for but most of the staff can figure out what would be helpful in my situation. Its not a drive through, get in get out in ten minutes - kinda store, but I dont know a hardware store that is. I refuse to use the automated checkouts though. Maybe thats why less staff. Bring back more staff. Great place!

I've had only 4 cold laser sessions on my knee and am so pleased. I suffer with meniscus pain and am waiting for surgery which just got rescheduled again. I noticed a difference the first time and can walk up the stairs now without pain. This service is great, happy not to go out in bad weather to have my appointment.
