Rainbow helped with our backyard makeover. From quote to clean up all went very smooth. We love the way the interlock turned out along with small garden wall. They even helped removing some old trees for the artificial grass company we used. Appreciate the extras and have referred them to friends. Thanks to the guys and to the owner who stopped by on the final day for a check-in.

If you don't know East End Garden Centre you're missing out on one of the gems of Toronto! You will not believe how large their garden centre is or what a huge inventory of Annuals & Perennials they have. They also have Shrubs, Trees, Topsoil, Gravel, Rockery, Firewood - you name it, they have it! And so conveniently located on the border of the Beaches & Leslieville with easy parking - a city dweller's dream! I've been going there (Beacher) for 20+ years and these ladies know their stuff and are always helpful. I highly recommend them and give them 5 stars!

My wife and I first met Sam during the restoration of our first home. We didn't know a lot about bricks or mortar at the time. Sam took the time to explain what was best for our specific situation and actually saved us money by steering us away from an unnecessary pricey "solution" I was willing to finance. Mom and I have been very happy with the PSWs (Eva and Carrie) assigned to help Mom. Eva is with Mom Monday through Saturday and helps Mom with whatever is needed. She is always smiling. Carrie is with Mom on Sundays and is equally wonderful helping Mom. At this time Mom is 101 years young and loves having these girls with her.

Just had Len do 3 trees in our yard and he knows what he is doing. Very professional and everything was neat and tidy when he left.No damage to anything....not even any holes in the lawn when he cut the branches off of the trees. My next 2 neighbours saw his work and also hired him to remove 6 trees on their lots. Would hire him again when I need some work done. Prices are very reasonable compared to some of his competition who quote prices but never show up to do the job.

My boyfriend and I often go here because it's the only Dim Sum we know that uses carts in Mississauga. We particularly like it as they seem to have a much wider selection (e.g. crab claws, suckling pig) than normal restaurants which serve Dim sum.
In terms of quality, I don't think they are best. I have had much better quality of food at other restaurants. Also, even though the selection is vast... What happened to the shui mai? How do you have crab claws and not shui mai?!?! (Edit: Found out you need to order the shui mai... I did and it was not good at all)
I noticed the cart ladies seem to be a bit more strange than at other restaurants... Some will FLY past you, others will scream food names right at you. It is kind of fun for me and my boyfriend to laugh about. (I should note we are both Chinese and both have gone to various restaurants for Dim Sum, and we notice the cart ladies here are particularly strange)
What I found particularly interesting is how many non-Chinese people eat here. I think it's the only Dim sum place I have seen to have such a variety of people here.
I should note that this place gets amazingly busy around noon. My boyfriend and I tend to go around 10:30 or 11 and usually find a seat quickly. If you come at 12 (especially looking for a larger table) you are doomed! haha
So to sum it up:
-Amazing and sometimes unique selection... except that the shui mai has disappeared!
-Decent food quality but not the best. E.g. The shrimp in the ha gow tastes fishy, the dough fritter in the chun fun is soggy sometimes, the spare ribs in the black bean spare ribs w/rice are so boney ahhh!
-Strange cart ladies lol. Sometimes rude, sometimes friendly
-Get there before 12 if you don't like waiting! It's actually more normal to eat Dim sum earlier in the day anyway :).
Also, it seems one reviewer on here stated that the adults and kids are noisy. This is normal for a Chinese restaurant, especially as one as big as Emerald.

Ordering a custom sideboard with Kaza Wood Furniture was super easy...they came to my house and measured the spot that it would be in to ensure it would fit properly. Then they asked what kind of contents I will be storing in this sideboard so everything would fit perfectly. I got to pick the wood, color and one of the many exclusive designs they have available. Excellent place and people. My son and I have gone there since my old dentist retired 10 or more years ago. Dr. Li is always gentle, kind and explains everything he is doing. He is very knowledgeable and is always concerned about your comfort level. The Staff and the wife of Dr. Li are always helpful and compassionate. My elderly parents go there too and are always treated with great care. You will not find better care anywhere.
