I had a wonderful experience with Dave at Oak Bay Cobbler (and I'm sorry it has taken me so long to leave this review). I was turned away by another cobbler who told me my Doc Martens that I had stupidly put through the washer and dryer in an attempt to shrink the leather (Reddit told me to!) which left them deformed (obviously), were a lost cause. Dave, however, said if I wanted to come back and use his tools I could work on the shoes myself. I fixed them. He didn't charge me. Go to Dave :)

Richard's restoration work is fantastic. Antique tools, antique methods, antique paper used in restoration. I have used him many times for my 16th and 17th century books. If you want quick turn around times, he is not your man. But if you want quality, historically sensitive, rebinding of exceptional quality all at very reasonable prices - visit him.

He has these little tricks that helped when my son was scared and it worked like a charm. Walking through the aisles of this place is like taking a trip around the world. You really get a bit of everything from international foodie favourites to local goodies. Although a lot of people complain about the price, I personally think you really get what you pay for. All foods in the cold case and hot bar are actually made in house rather than most supermarkets where they try to get away with frozen goods.

At the beginning our kids started to swim, later on me and my wife got lessons as well.
The school is doing Red Cross program, like in other community centers.
But attention and method are pretty different.

She had been very ill a number of times during her life. Last week after an active, happy life, Tuco was put down following an injury. Tuco would have been 14 years old in October. Pharmacy department is outstanding for their knowledge, helpfulness and friendliness. A special thank you to Breanne D who has made my life so much easier these past two months with issues I have had regarding my mother's prescriptions. She has definitely gone above and beyond, especially when she pointed out to us that she could not in good conscience fill one of the prescriptions without talking to my mother's doctor...who ended up lowering the dosage as per her suggestion.

I recently dropped my digital camera because its wrist strap frayed and snapped. The camera was ok, but I needed a new strap. No one sells these separate from a camera, but a great associate at Lens and Shutter gave me one at no charge. They keep some on hand from cameras that have been traded in but are no longer usable. It's even a better quality strap than the original!
