Best chinese food we've had in years. We love the spicy green bean's, they are always perfectly tender crisp. The gai lan in black bean sauce is great. Everything we get has been good.
This is a small family run restaurant with a friendly young woman who seats you and takes your order and her husband who is the chef in the back.
If you want something differant than what is on the menu they always seem happy to oblige.
They also do a very brisk takeout business.

What a beautiful get away. If you come to Vancouver Island to experience the West Coast and not some stuffy hotel room this is the place to be. It has waterfront river access and friendly West Coast welcome with gift baskets and personable service. The rooms were lovely. You can use the BBQ and the wharf. You can cook inside or outside and save on food costs. Great for families or friends or just to meet people in the outdoor areas if you want. I would love to come back with friends again.

There is a sign outside of the restaurant advising everything is made from scratch and asks for your patience. Definitely worth the wait. The naan was nice and fresh. We ordered the Sarahi chicken, chicken pakora and lamb vindaloo. All excellent. Family run business, very simple and modest looking interior / exterior with limited seating.

Brought it to Starr to have it done, An hour later I got a call, it was only a missing o-ring, it was sucking air, hence the steering problem. $45 charge. I love Starr Automotive!

Before the course I was trying to teach myself and constantly stalling the bike and struggling on tight maneuvers. I think I was in the class of the student that posted the may2017 review. The student having a negative attitude and refusing to participate in the exercises and mentally failing before even trying, was what I saw.

Had a problem with my treadmill. Called for an appointment. Booked in for a service call within a few days. He showed up on time, narrowed the issue down to two things, figured out which one it was, fixed it, charged me a reasonable price and was gone in a little over an hour. I would totally recommend this company.

This is a great place to get used auto parts at a fair price! The guy is very pleasant with lots of selection, the cars are numbered & well organized with enough space between them, there's not a bunch of trip hazards everywhere like most places and they even laid down gravel so it's easy to dig down & get a jack under it & not muddy all the time... it's honestly my favourite place to get auto parts. Give them a call because they have a large selection.

I brought in my old jalopy of a leaf blower/sucker with a broken pull cord. Daria and Tyler helped me get going again and found me some gently used parts at a fraction of the price compared to new instead of pushing for a new sale and were super friendly and knowledgeable while doing so. Instead of waiting 4 weeks they had me off and running in less than an hour. Common sense. Common decency. What a change from the rest of society lately. I wish I had a 6 star rating available.
