I was at your store with my friend who is blind. I had been searching for a candle snuffer for her so that she could sit outside in the evening, with a citronella candle to ward off mosquitos. I was having to blow it out every evening, so I figured a snuffer would solve the problem. I called absolutely every store I could think of without success. Until I phoned you. I love shopping at the Independant, EVERYONE, from those that stock the shelves, to those on cash, and everyone in between, are so friendly, polite and courteous it’s ALL done with a smile. I’ve never left the store feeling anything but satisfied. They deserve a great big HUG. I could go on about everything else and how they help me but I’ve only got 500 characters. Used them yesterday as we had a small flood in the basement when a pipe connection let go. Called them around 5:30 PM and left message with answering service and they called back in under a half hour. They were at our place by 6:30 PM and all repairs and clean up plus another job that I had was completed by 7:30 PM. Very happy with them. Two young guys, very polite and willing to explain what they were doing. Will definitely use them again if the need arises.

Our refrigerator quit and Janet directed us to a new unit that we really liked. That was nine in the morning. By 1:30 Brad had it delivered and sitting in place in the kitchen. Thanks Janet and Brad. It was a great experience and we really appreciate you two!

The Cosmetic Department is terrifically helpful. They continually try and find the best, most economical product for their client. I have dealt with them for a number of years and they have never steered me wrong or had me buy anything I didn’t use entirely. All of the staff is quite willing to try something on you first before you buy it.

My favourite grocery store. They have a wide variety of foods at very competitive prices, but what I appreciate most is the service. There are always lots of people on the floor if you need assistance finding anything, and they always have time for you. Cashing out is always relatively quick as the cash-out counters are well-manned. Clearly the management of this store knows what it’s doing!

Very pleased with our experience shopping at the Brick in Belleville Ontario. Our sales associate Corrie was very friendly and helpful. She helped us order all the products we were looking for and made the shopping experience very pleasant. She explained how all the warranties worked and went out of her way to make sure we were able to purchase all the products we wanted. I would definitely shop there again and I would ask for her.
