Wow, Catfish Inn has made a real turnaround - I stopped in for lunch and had the best burger and fries that I've had in a good, long time. It's usually my tester dish to see how good a restaurant is, and they passed with flying colors! Got to meet Nick, the new manager who Just came from Rae & Jerries in Winnipeg , and it seems he's got the place running like a top. Great food, great atmosphere, and well, I loved it. ;)

I ordered the porchetta and the garden pizza with regular crust, and it was amazing. The sauce was perfect, perfect amount of cheese, My partner and i wanted to eat all the pizza last night but we could only manage a couple of slices. Nourishing. I also ordered the Santa Ana salad, and it was fantastic. I love a good salad, and the FRESH asparagus (I've had some places give me canned.. Fail) it was was great. So eat there. I don't eat much pizza but this place is worth the take out or dine in wherever you are in the city.

My boyfriend brought me to Mariaggi's Theme Suite Hotel and Spa for my birthday. I had no idea where we were going and had never even heard of this place before last night. We had an amazing mini vacation. We stayed in the Morocco suite. The room has such a wonderful atmosphere. There were all kinds of artwork and statues throughout the suite. It had beautiful tile work and the attention to detail was extremely well done.
Morocco had a waterfall hot tub. The hot tub filled like a waterfall and we could turn a switch and it flowed through the hot tub as well as through the jets. The steam room had speakers inside. There was a really great stereo where we could hook up our Ipod/Iphone. The big TV swiveled and we could watch our movie from the hot tub or anywhere in the suite.
The dinner was served to us in the suite and it was hot and delicious. We had the couples massage the next day and we had such a relaxing morning - I really did not want to leave.
On check out we viewed Africa and Mexico which were also fantastic. The owners showed us the 1,000 sq.ft. Cuba suite they are building on the other side which will have its own out door deck and a pool table, waterfall hot tub etc..
Thank you for the great service, food and getaway place. This is one birthday I will always remember.

have also seen cotton candy, and also pineapple.
there's always a line up on hot days, but that's because they have great ice cream and great service.
After you get your ice cream, head over for a nice long walk in Assiniboine Park. Great location!

The shop is super clean and everyone is really professional. My piercer Erica was really friendly and has a really calming presence. I got my bridge done and its super straight and is healing way better than any other piercing I have gotten. Really high quality jewelry made out of titanium is used at this shop instead of the standard surgical steel garbage everyone else uses. I hung out afterwards just because it was such a chill environment. Love this shop!

We Care For Your Pets As If They Were Our Own!
I was very happy with the front staff and how nice they were to my puppy giving her treats for her first visit. My appointment however was at 1:40 and I didn't see the Vet till 2:30. I work so I need to know that if this is normal so I can schedule accordingly. Otherwise I like the staff and the Vet was good too.

Stopped in at CDC Computers this afternoon with a jammed printer. Cam came to the rescue and after what seemed to be forever, got the jam out without breaking anything which alone saved us from having to buy another printer. Thanks to Cam and all the staff as we have used them on more than one occasion.

Bought my second truck from midtown ford from Jordan , service was fast and easy, all done over the phone and email had my new truck within a week . We live in rural Manitoba so ford dealerships are limited to where we are , I plan on being a returning customer ! Would highly recommend!
