I have been in and out of Physio Therapists offices for years and each one would give me more of the same exercises and...blah, blah, blah. Jessie gave me the most accurate and detailed description of my problems and designed an exercise program especially for me! It was simple and easy-to-follow, plus I asked her for a few simple ideas for exercises I can do at my desk, and she happily obliged!
Excellent treatments and a routine that was easily adaptible into my everyday life.

This is such an amazing gym! The instructors for group exercise classes are top of the line. I enjoy their Zumba classes and yoga classes. The studio is super spacious! The gym is huge and very clean. I love their modern equipment such as the power racks, reverse hyper, and cable machines! They have plenty of equipment, it's never crowded and I like how clean it is and they have the most professional gym equipment like the hammer strength area, and their cardio machines. Going along Broadway I have noticed the restaurant many times and finally decided to drop in for brunch to give it a go. We sat outside, we didn't mind waiting for a table there. Service was fine and the food came fairly soon. I had an excellent smoked ham benedict which came with cubed fries and a very fresh salad.

Located right at the main entrance to Granville Island sits the Granville Island Brewery. Due to their popularity I think it has been a long time since this location was their main production facility but that hasn't stopped them from turning this into a unique and fun tourist attraction on the Island. Offering tours daily, you can learn about how their beer is made and more about the history of this unique little piece of brewing history in Vancouver. Granville Island Brewery was one of the first microbreweries in Canada and obviously they did a great job because they started a revolution in the Canadian brewing industry and were even just acquired by Molson Coors earlier this year. After your tour you get to sit and enjoy a sampler tray of 3 different beers. Or, you can just skip the tour and belly up to the bar in the tasting room and try all of their great brews named after Vancouver neighbourhoods and landmarks. For a fun and interesting group outing hit the Granville Island Brewery and enjoy a taste of Vancouver History!

Love the selection, quality products, expert advice, sales, and all round friendly and dedicated service. Classes and rentals were good too. I would say it is one of the highlights at Granville Island.

I visited West with a friend that had been there a couple of times before. The outside of the restaurant was very unassuming. You would have no idea that there was a fantastic restaurant inside. Parking may be an issue as it's a busy streetfront but they did seem to have valet. We sat at the bar and had cesars until our table was ready--made fresh with muddled tomato right in front of our eyes. The food was all amazing both in appearance and taste. REALLY good. I would definitely eat here again!

Even though I do a lot of book shopping online these days I still love going to Chapters and browsing the aisles and aisles and aisles of books. This store is great by virtue of its location and the knowledgeable staff who can guide you to almost any title in the store. It is also a great place to while away an afternoon flipping through books you may buy since the staff pretty much leaves you to your own devices if this is what you are choosing to do. They also have a great little gift section for unique and interesting gift items. They used to have a pretty good music section but this is being renovated right now...possibly because they are no longer going to carry music. Head into Chapters at Broadway and Granville and lose yourself in the books!
