I went in to buy a new pair of prescription glasses and Sunny was a great help; he was extremely knowledgeable and made recommendations based on my needs. SNV mainly stocks higher end fashion frames but I was moreso looking for middle of the range frames. Regardless, I felt like a valued customer and had a positive purchasing experience. This is the place I visited when I cam to Vancouver for the first time. In that sense, when I noticed people having a great time there, it always puts a smile on my face. This time, although it was quite busy as usual but my friends and I were seated promptly. Friendly server whose service was simply a top-notch. This place's got everything: a great atmosphere, something different from other run of the mill restaurants in town and also more importantly great food! Most of the people who write reviews are dissatisfied. However, recently, I had excellent service at the Shoppers Drug Mart at Parkgate in North Vancouver. I received more support at Shoppers in one hour, than I had received from the pharmacy I had gone to for 30 years. You have to remember when going here that this is a wine tasting room, not a place to have dinner. The wine list is imaginative and approachable. The service on a good night is excellent, on a bad night is so-so, but the staff have always been very helpful with the wine choices, pairings, and flight recommendations. I really love this Starbucks location. The customer service is always friendly and helpful and I have found my lattes to be consistently creamy and delicious.
