Everytime I go to the Brick I get excellent service. I had to buy a mattress for myself. I am very pleased with the product. Because they didn't tell me about the mattress and bed pick up for 40$, they came today and picked it up for free. Also, they took my old oven for 20$ even though I bought the new one from Leon's and not them. Leon's charges 30$. If you go to the Brick ask for Wanda or Gary. I get very good service from them. They are honest and not at all pushy.

Small store but fairly well stocked with basics.
But... as the big grocery stores have cut their Asian stock down to a nub. I'n hoping this will allow the store to bring in a larger diversity of goods. Even so, I'll continue to shop there. They are very knowledgeable and helpful.

I work for a delivery company and Went to the dollarama at 525 9th east to do a pick up today. There was a bit of a misunderstanding with the packaging requirements and the label was missing. The manager from 1 water street was there, not only did she resolve the issue but she also worked with the employees in a kind and understanding manner which in turn ended up being a solid team effort leading to them learning how to do this and me being able to continue on in a timely fashion. Shelves are always stocked- the staff are friendly- pharmacy staff are cheerful and helpful. There is only one problem - the cashier is often not available - management insists on only one cashier as they want the express machines to be used. Not convenient when I only want a lottery ticket.
